Avery Rose Lamont

I created this piece using acrylics on paperboard. Portraying the female form with elegance and opulence has always been my choice of subject matter. I love women who are powerful yet subtly fragile, it’s captivating.
My process tends to be intensive and fast-paced; I don’t like to work on one piece for a long period of time. My passion and dedication for a piece is the strongest in the beginning, and I like to use that drive before it fades. I often finish big pieces in a day or two of non-stop work. This was one of those pieces, and when I look at it now, I can still feel that passion, as if I’m bringing my idea to life again.
